These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bayousocialco.co and the services provided by BayouSocialCo LLC (“BayouSocialCo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
BayouSocialCo provides social media management for local businesses (planning, creating, and posting content, community management, Google Business Profile updates, and reporting) and custom small-business website design. Plans and prices shown on our website, such as our monthly social media plans and our $500 website offer, are summaries. The exact deliverables, price, and timeline for your project are confirmed in writing (a proposal, invoice, or service agreement) before work begins.
2. Payment & cancellation
Monthly social media plans are month-to-month, with the first month paid upfront, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice unless your written agreement says otherwise. Website projects are billed as described in your proposal or invoice. Ad spend, third-party fees, domain registration, and add-ons are billed separately unless stated otherwise.
3. Your content & accounts
You confirm that you have the right to the logos, photos, text, and other materials you give us, and you give us permission to use them to deliver your services. You keep ownership of your business accounts and pages. We may show work we’ve created for you in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
4. Website previews
We sometimes build sample website previews for local businesses. A preview is a private, no-obligation mockup. It isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by that business until they choose to work with us, and we take it down on request.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our website or services, for example by trying to disrupt them, access them without permission, submit unlawful or infringing content, or send spam through our forms.
6. Intellectual property
The BayouSocialCo name, logo, and the content of this website belong to BayouSocialCo LLC. Ownership of deliverables we create for clients is set out in the client’s written agreement.
7. Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Social media platforms and search engines control their own algorithms and policies, so we do not guarantee any specific reach, followers, rankings, leads, or revenue.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BayouSocialCo LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Louisiana.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last revised. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
